Barlow man facing drug charges after traffic stop in Ballard County

BALLARD COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – A Barlow man faces drug and other charges after a traffic stop on February 10.

Brandon Willis, 29, of Barlow faces charges of speeding 15 over, driving too fast for conditions, failure of non-owner to maintain required insurance 1st, no registration receipt, no registration plates, trafficking in control substance 1st offense greater than 2 grams methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia-buy/possess, probation violation warrant for felony offense and indictment warrant out of Ballard County.

Ballard County Sheriff’s deputies stopped a vehicle for traffic violations in the early morning hours in Feb. 10.

Willis had outstanding warrants out of Ballard County to include a probation violation warrant.

Deputies found a large quantity of a crystal like substance believed to be methamphetamine along with digital scales.

Willis was taken to the Ballard County Detention Center.
