Bell City Fire Rescue collecting school supplies for local students

BELL CITY, Mo. (KBSI) — Bell City Fire Rescue is collecting school supplies to support the Stoddard County Ambulance District’s annual school supply drive.

Donations can be dropped off at the Bell City Fire Rescue station, where a collection box has been placed in the office. If no one is available, residents are encouraged to contact a department officer or any Bell City Fire Rescue member to arrange a drop-off.

The department is seeking donations of backpacks, notebooks, folders, pencils, pens, crayons, colored pencils, markers, glue sticks, scissors, dry-erase markers, tissues and hand sanitizer.

Fire officials said every donation will help local students begin the new school year with the supplies they need to succeed.

For more information or to coordinate a donation, residents can contact Chief David Shearer, Assistant Chief Kevin Julian or Captain Collin Julian through the Bell City Fire Rescue department.
