Benton first responders prepare for hot Neighbor Days weekend

BENTON, Mo., (KBSI) — The Benton Fire Department is reminding residents to stay hydrated and recognize the symptoms of heat exhaustion and heatstroke as high temperatures are expected this weekend.

Benton first responders and fire personnel will be on-site each day during Benton Neighbor Days to help keep attendees safe.

Officials encourage people to begin hydrating now, take care of themselves and check on others throughout the weekend.
