Benton, IL man sentenced to 47 years for predatory criminal sexual assault

BENTON, Ill. (KBSI) – A Benton, Illinois man was sentenced to 47 years behind bars on May 23 after pleading guilty to two counts of predatory criminal sexual assault in 2023.

Robert B. Hodges, 35, was arrested for two counts of predatory criminal sexual assault on July 12, 2023.

He pleaded guilty and was sentenced by the Honorable Judge Tedeschi for 47 years.

He will serve 85% of the sentence. Once he is released, he will be required to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
