Benton, KY man charged with rape, sodomy

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – A Benton, Ky. man faces rape and sodomy charges.

Anthony Comello, 50 of Benton faces charges of rape 3rd degree and sodomy 3rd degree. He was arrested on July 8.

The charges stem from an investigation completed by the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office.

It was reported to the sheriff’s office that Comello was enticing a minor to perform sexual acts with him.

Comello was taken to the Marshall County Jail.

The investigation continues.
