Benton, KY man facing charges for stolen license plate

MURRAY, Ky. (KBSI) – A Benton, Ky. man faces charges after sheriff’s deputies say he was in possession of a stolen license plate.

David Brown, 50, of Benton, Ky. faces charges of operating on a suspended operators license, no registration receipt, no registration plates, failure of owner to maintain, required insurance 1st offense and theft of motor vehicle regstration plate.

Calloway County Sheriff’s Office received information that Brown was in possession of a stolen license plate out of Marshall County.

On Aug 8, deputies found Brown in Murray. He was arrested and taken to the Calloway County Detention Center.
