Benton, KY man facing drug charges after sheriff’s deputies find meth

BENTON, Ky. (KBSI) – A Benton, Ky. man drug charges after sheriff’s deputies say he was found with methamphetamine.
Roy James Jones, 40, of Benton, Ky. was arrested on November 6.
Marshall County Sheriff’s deputies went to his home to serve an arrest warrant.
The indictment warrant was for trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree.
Jones was searched and deputies found he had two baggies of a crystal-like substance which tested positive for methamphetamine, according to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies searched his home on Tubbs Road in Marshall County and found more baggies of methamphetamine, several sets of digital scales, drug paraphernalia and numerous weapons, according to the sheriff’s office.
