Bernie police report multiple arrests in September

BERNIE, Mo., (KBSI) — The Bernie Police Department, working with the SEMO Drug Task Force, arrested a Bernie man last week on a felony drug charge, officials said.

On Sept. 30, police arrested Gregory Pippins of Bernie on a Class C felony charge of delivery of a controlled substance. His bond was set at $50,000 cash-only by Judge LeAnn Below. Authorities said the arrest is part of an ongoing narcotics investigation in the area.

Other recent arrests include:

Sept. 24 — Stephanie Jewell, of Bernie, was arrested on a Bernie municipal warrant for stealing. She was booked into the Bernie Jail and later released.

Sept. 21 — Brianna Cavaness, of Campbell, was arrested on a Bernie municipal failure-to-appear warrant for driving while revoked. Her bond was set at $162 cash-only. She posted bond and was released.

Chief Rick Cook said the department remains committed to ongoing enforcement and public safety in the community.
