BISMARCK, Mo., (KBSI) — Michael A. Driemeier, 31, of Bismarck, was arrested Jan. 9, 2025, on multiple charges related to child pornography and failing to register as a sex offender.

Driemeier faces two counts of possession of child pornography, two counts of promoting child pornography and one count of failing to register as a sex offender. He is being held in the St. Francois County Jail on a $250,000 bond.

The arrest followed an investigation by the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control. In July 2024, investigators discovered a social media account tied to Driemeier that had transferred images of child pornography. Further investigation revealed Driemeier, a registered sex offender, had failed to disclose several social media accounts to state officials.

Driemeier was formally charged by the St. Francois County Prosecuting Attorney on Jan. 13, 2025. The charges are mere accusations, and evidence must be presented in court to determine guilt or innocence.
