Bloomfield women dies in fatal car crash

BLOOMFIELD, Mo. (KBSI) – A women was killed in a head on traffic crash.

According to traffic reports at 6:08 pm on Wednesday November 6, 2024, on Missouri Highway 25 approximately one mile north of Bloomfield, a vehicle traveling north bound driven by a 53-year-old Bloomfield women crossed the center line which then hit a vehicle in the southern bound lane driven by 77-year-old Bloomfield women.

The driver of the north bound vehicle was pronounced dead on the scene.

The driver of the south bound vehicle was transported by air evac to St. Louis University Hospital for serious injuries.

Passengers were present in the south bound vehicle who also suffered injuries.

Three juveniles were transported to Saint Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau. a 13-year-old with moderate injuries, a 4 year with minor injuries and a 13-year-old with minor injuries.
