Body cam footage shows dramatic water rescue in McCracken County

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office has released body-worn video footage of a dramatic water rescue that took place earlier today on Bonds Road.

The footage shows deputies rescuing a man, identified as Thomas Gonzalez, who had become stranded in floodwaters after driving around road closure signs.

The MCSO credited the swift assistance of Adam Clark, a local resident, and the deputies involved in the rescue for preventing a potential tragedy.
