KUTTAWA, Ky., (KBSI) — Kentucky State Police are investigating after the body of a Tennessee man was found along the Cumberland River in Lyon County.
Troopers were called just after 2 p.m. March 30 to McKinney Road in Kuttawa, where a person reported finding a body on the riverbank. Authorities identified the man as Darrion M. Young, 37, of Nashville.
Police said Young had previously been reported missing after his vehicle was found abandoned on the Interstate 24 Cumberland River bridge earlier this month.
Investigators later determined Young was a suspect in a homicide in Nashville, where officers found a deceased woman at a residence linked to him.
Authorities said no foul play is suspected in Young’s death. An autopsy is scheduled for April 1.
The investigation remains ongoing.
