Boil-water advisory issued for Annwood Estates in Jackson

JACKSON, Mo., (KBSI) — A precautionary boil-water advisory is in effect for the Annwood Estates subdivision following a water main break.
The advisory includes all properties on Brittany Drive, Nicole Lane, Dana Drive and Leming Lane.
City officials recommend boiling water for three minutes before using it for drinking, brushing teeth, washing dishes, making ice or preparing food and beverages.
The city was notified early Thursday that some homes were without water. Crews located the break and are working to restore service.
The advisory will remain in effect until further notice. Questions may be directed to Jackson Public Works at 573-243-2300.
