Boil water order issued for parts of Murray

MURRAY, Ky., (KBSI) — A boil water order has been issued for parts of the City of Murray’s water system due to a water main break.
The order, effective immediately, affects customers from 2880 St. Rt. 94 East to the end of the line, including all side roads and subdivisions.
As a precaution, residents are advised to boil water for at least 5 minutes before consumption for drinking, making ice, washing food, brushing teeth or other activities.
Boiled water can be stored at room temperature or refrigerated in a closed container.
The order will remain in effect until further notice.
