Boil Water Order issued for portion of South 15th Street in Mt. Vernon

MT. VERNON, Ill., (KBSI) — A boil water order has been issued effective 10 a.m. Friday for the 1100 block of South 15th Street, officials announced.

The order is expected to remain in effect for 48 hours. Residents in the affected area are advised to boil water before using it for drinking, cooking, or food preparation.
