Bollinger County Eagles 4473 host charity UTV ride for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital

MARBLE HILL, Mo. (KBSI) – Bollinger County Eagles Aerie 4473 are gearing up for their second annual St. Judes UTV benefit ride, which is also one of the biggest charity events they host.

Bollinger County Aerie 4473 President Cathy Trentham says last year’s event raised $9,000 and this year they want to go bigger.

“Last year we did it, and we raised over $9,000, so we’re hoping to exceed that this year,” Trentham said,” From last year, I think we counted 108 UTVS, ATVs, and some world motorcycles. We just, you know, we had a great time with that; great turnout for that.”

The benefit started today with BBQ meals being sold to raise money, and the big UTV, ATV, run is Saturday. The trail goes for over 60 miles and it’s followed by a donation auction.

Bollinger County Eagles Bar manager Jessica Kee says this event means a lot to all its members to help the kids.

“And it just really warms my heart that we get to actually donate all this money for the kids,” said Kee.

They donate money to children and provide fun for everyone else.

“Come on out and have a good time, bring your sides, or you can just come and have some food and donate some of your time to a good charity,” said Kee.
