MARBLE HILL, Mo. (KBSI) — The Bollinger County Sheriff’s Office will provide free child identification kits during a back-to-school fair later this month.
The sheriff’s office will host a Missouri Child Identification Program (MoCHIP) booth from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday, July 27, at First Baptist Church, 502 Broadway, in Marble Hill.
Parents can receive a personalized identification kit for their child that includes fingerprints. The sheriff’s office said each kit typically takes about 10 to 15 minutes to complete and is provided directly to the parent.
MoCHIP is a free program offered through the Missouri Masonic Children’s Foundation and Missouri Freemasonry to help families maintain identification records for their children.
