Amber Alert canceled after 2-year-old girl found safe

ST. LOUIS (KBSI) – An Amber Alert that was issued out of the St. Louis area after a toddler was abducted during a home invasion after an assault has been canceled.

The Missouri Highway Patrol says two-year-old Aaliyah Abernathy was found safe.

She was last seen on the 11000 block of Marbella Drive. She was allegedly abducted by two men wearing black clothing and black ski masks, who were both armed with handguns.

The little girl was last seen wearing pink leggings with polka dots and her hair was styled in a ponytail with pink and purple accessories.

Authorities searched for a gray 2020 Hyundai Elantra with temporary Missouri registration 06EST5.
