PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI) — A bridge on KY 2140 in Fulton County has been closed due to corrosion and deterioration of its beams.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet announced the closure on Wednesday, citing an inspection team’s findings at the bridge, located at the 3.767 mile marker over Mud Creek.

The bridge, which carries approximately 55 vehicles per day, is situated between KY 94 and KY 1129. It will remain closed to all traffic until further notice.

Engineers will evaluate the bridge to determine whether it can be repaired or should be replaced.
