Bridge replacement project begins on Stoddard County road

STODDARD COUNTY, Mo., (KBSI) — Work is underway to replace a bridge on County Road 235 in Stoddard County.

The project is located about a quarter mile north of Highway K in New Lisbon Township, according to Stoddard County Collector/Treasurer Josh Speakman.

The bridge replacement is being funded through the Stoddard County Capital Improvement Sales Tax approved by voters.

County Road 235 will be closed in the project area while work is underway.

Drivers are encouraged to use caution and plan for the closure.
