Burfordville home raided in joint operation; multiple firearms, drugs seized

BURFORDVILLE, Mo., (KBSI) – A joint operation between the Southeast Missouri Drug Task Force and the Cape Girardeau County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday resulted in the seizure of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and multiple firearms from a property.

Authorities took three individuals, one man and two women, into custody at approximately 6:45 a.m. in Burfordville.

They are being held at the Cape Girardeau County Sheriff’s Office pending formal charges.

The operation is part of an ongoing effort to combat drug activity and protect communities, according to authorities.

The Southeast Missouri Drug Task Force, which is part of a multi-jurisdictional task force supervised by the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control, works to disrupt and dismantle drug trafficking organizations
