Calloway County Fire-Rescue responds to two-vehicle accident on Hwy 641 North

MURRAY, Ky., (KBSI) — Calloway County Fire-Rescue responded to a two-vehicle accident Monday at the intersection of Hwy 641 North and Coles Campground Road.

The accident, reported at approximately 3 p.m., involved two pickup trucks with heavy front-end damage, blocking the northbound lanes of Hwy 641 North.

One driver was transported to Murray-Calloway County Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, including neck pain and a laceration to the arm. The other driver reported no injuries.

Emergency responders from Calloway County Fire-Rescue, Murray Police Department, Calloway County Sheriff’s Office and Murray-Calloway County EMS worked together to provide medical aid and traffic control.

The accident is under investigation by the Murray Police Department and Calloway County Sheriff’s Office.
