Calloway County man charged in ongoing narcotics investigation

CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — The Calloway County Sheriff’s Office says deputies with the Narcotics Division have charged a local man with drug offenses following an investigation that began in October.
Justin Hanks, 42, of Almo, was charged on Dec. 5 with first-degree possession of a controlled substance, third or greater offense (methamphetamine), a Class D felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Hanks is already being held at the Calloway County Detention Center on a parole violation warrant related to theft charges. According to the sheriff’s office, he has been convicted of drug-related offenses more than three times since 2013.
The investigation remains ongoing.
