Calloway County officials warn residents of jury duty scam

CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — The Calloway County E911 Communications Center is warning residents about multiple scams reported in the area.

Officials said scammers have contacted individuals regarding jury duty matters.

Authorities emphasized that the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office does not handle jury duty and will not issue warrants or request payment by phone, text message, mail or email.
