Calloway County Sheriff’s Office looking for fugitive after vehicle chase

CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – Calloway County Sheriff Nicky Knight requests the public’s assistance locating a fugitive who is wanted in connection with a March 17 vehicle chase.

Ronnie Sharp, 47, has a warrant for his arrest for 1st degree fleeing or evading police, three counts of 1st degree wanton endangerment, 3rd degree criminal mischief and various other traffic related offenses.

Sharp is also wanted for failure to appear while out on bond for a 2022 Calloway County felony case where he is charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and various traffic related offenses.

Sharp has also been charged with 1st degree bail jumping in that pending case.

He is also wanted in Marshall County for failure to appear on a pending case.

The parole board also issued a Parole Violation Warrant for Sharp on March 28.

Sharp is described as a white male, approximately 5’10” tall, weighing about 145 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Murray-Calloway County Crimestoppers is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of Sharp. He should be considered armed and dangerous.
