Calloway County Sheriff’s Office warns against scam calls

CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI)- The Calloway County Sheriff’s Department says they had numerous calls that someone is claiming to be with the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office, and it is a scam.

The phone number may appear to be the sheriff’s department, but they are warning the public they do not call on the telephone about a warrant and will never request money by phone for any reason.
