Campbell firefighters respond to early-morning house fire

CAMPBELL, Mo., (KBSI) — The Campbell Volunteer Fire Department responded to a house fire early Tuesday morning around 3:30 a.m.
Officials said the resident was home at the time but was able to escape safely without injury. The fire began in the kitchen and is believed to have been accidental.
No signs of foul play were found, and no injuries were reported.
The department thanked all responders for their assistance at the scene.
