Cape Central Beta Club serves veterans at Missouri’s National Veterans Memorial breakfast

PERRYVILLE, Mo., (KBSI) — Twelve students from Cape Central High School’s Beta Club participated in the Missouri’s National Veterans Memorial Breakfast on Thursday, Feb. 12.

The students traveled to Perryville early in the morning to help greet and serve nearly 40 area veterans during the event at Missouri’s National Veterans Memorial.

School officials said the Beta Club raised funds for the breakfast by selling more than 600 candy grams.

Organizers said veterans expressed appreciation for the students’ efforts and involvement.
