Cape Central High School implements alternate instruction day due to power outage

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Cape Central High School will implement an Alternate Method of Instruction Day (AMI) on April 3, 2025, due to a power outage at the building.
Ameren estimates power will not be restored today. Students already on buses will be returned home.
Teachers will communicate assignments to students via alternate methods.
This decision only affects Cape Central High School.
The district apologizes for the inconvenience and appreciates understanding as safety and continued learning remain top priorities.
