Cape County Commissioners recognize Correctional Officer Week

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI)- On Monday morning, on May 6th, 2024, the Cape Girardeau County Commissioners signed a proclamation recognizing National Correctional Officer Week.

Sheriff Dickerson and the entire staff wanted to take a moment to recognize their incredible Correctional Officers, saying “They work tirelessly, often enduring long hours in a demanding and stressful environment. It’s a job that not everyone can do or fully appreciate, but they tackle it with unwavering professionalism, dedication, and hard work.”
