CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI)- The members of Local 1084, Cape Girardeau Fire Department would like to extend their gratitude to everyone who participated in the Toys for Tots Best Mustache Contest by voting and donating.

This year’s winner of the contest is Driver/Operator Scott Bennett.

The event was a success, and the members of Local 1084 appreciate the community’s support.

The fire department’s Best Mustache Contest raised $571 for Toys for Tots, with the total potentially increasing if additional donations are received before the funds are presented.

The contest allowed residents to vote for their favorite mustache, with each dollar donated counting as one vote.
