Cape Girardeau church holding Back-to-School Bash on August 10

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KBSI) – Saturday, August 10 is the Back-to-School Bash for Grace Church in Cape Girardeau.

More than 900 students are registered to receive help with back-to-school supplies.

Kendra Pullet is the outreach pastor for Grace Church. She says the church is offering help to parents and students with a free clothing “store” and free haircuts.

“These students have to go back to school equipped and ready and we feel we have the duty and the obligation to make sure they get back on the right foot and provide all the help we can for parents,” said Pullet.

The event is being held at the Salvation Army on Saturday, August 10 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
