Cape Girardeau County Commissioners meet to discuss the County Coroner’s position

JACKSON, Mo. (KBSI) – The Cape Girardeau County Commissioners office met October 30 to discuss with the public the position of the Cape Girardeau County Coroner’s Office.

They met in the Commissioners Chambers at 9 a.m.

The meeting focused on whether the coroner’s office should be replaced with a Medical Examiner’s office.

Wavis Jordan is the presiding county coroner.

No final decisions have been made at this time.
