Cape Girardeau county offices relocate to renovated courthouse

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Cape Girardeau County has relocated several elected officials’ offices to the renovated 1908 Courthouse, 100 Court St., Jackson.

The relocated offices include:

— Public Administrator, first floor
— Auditor, Treasurer, Human Resources and Road & Bridge, second floor
— Commission Chambers, Commissioners, Clerk of the County and Elections, third floor

Regular commission meetings are now held Mondays and Thursdays at 9 a.m. in the new Commission Chambers.

An accessible entrance is available on the first floor, lower entrance, north side of the courthouse.

The Recorder of Deeds, Collector and Assessor will remain in the Administration Building, 1 Barton Square, Jackson.
