Cape Girardeau County orders flags flown at half-staff to honor late commissioner
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — The Cape Girardeau County Commission has ordered the U.S. and Missouri flags to be flown at half-staff at all county-owned buildings from Aug. 8-10, 2025.
The gesture honors the late Presiding Commissioner Gerald Jones, who recently passed away. The flags will remain at half-staff until dusk on Aug. 10, 2025.
