Cape Girardeau County Public Health Center holds back to school drive-thru immunization clinic

CAPE GIRARDEAU COUNTY, Mo. (KBSI) – Before you send your kids back to school, you may want to make sure they’re up to date on their vaccines.

The Cape Girardeau County Public Health Center is helping parents do just that.  Saturday, the health center held a drive-thru immunization clinic.

From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., students entering 8th or 12th grade were able to go and make sure they were up to date on their shots.

The health center plans to offers another drive-thru clinic next Sunday, August 21.

The clinic will be open to those entering 8th or 12th grade only.

Those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult and should bring their insurance card and shot record.
