Cape Girardeau County residents asked to report flood damage

DELTA, Mo., (KBSI) – The Cape Girardeau County Office of Emergency Management is requesting residents to report any flood damage to their primary residence, particularly in lower levels or basements, resulting from the recent weather event.

Residents who have experienced water damage to finished living spaces are asked to report the damage using the online form available at

When reporting damage, residents should include:

A brief description of the damage
An estimate of the damage
Photos, if available

The reported damage will assist the county in providing accurate information for the disaster assistance reporting process.
