Cape Girardeau County Senior Information Day set for Sept. 3

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Cape Girardeau County seniors are invited to attend Senior Information Day on Thursday, Sept. 3.
The event will run from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with doors opening at 8:30 a.m., at Eagles Aerie No. 3775, 321 N. Sprigg St. in Cape Girardeau.
The event will feature an informational program, vendors, door prizes and a free lunch.
Representatives from the Cape Girardeau Police Department, Jackson Police Department, Cape Girardeau County Sheriff’s Office, Missouri State Highway Patrol and Cape Girardeau and Jackson fire departments will be available to answer questions.
The Missouri Department of Conservation will also host a question-and-answer session.
The event is presented by Seniors and Lawmen Together, or S.A.L.T.
