Cape Girardeau County seniors gather for annual information day

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Seniors and local law enforcement came together this week for the annual Senior Information Day, an event organized by SALT — Seniors and Lawmen Together.

Officials said the gathering offered an opportunity to connect with older residents, share resources and strengthen community ties.

“We’re grateful to everyone who came out to participate and for all the hard work that went into making this year’s event a success,” organizers said.

The event is one of several community outreach efforts held each year in Cape Girardeau County.
