Cape Girardeau County Sheriff’s Office conducting Halloween sex offender compliance checks

CAPE GIRARDEAU COUNTY, Mo., (KBSI) – As Halloween and the holiday season approach, the Cape Girardeau County Sheriff’s Office is reminding residents to stay informed about safety by using the Missouri Sex Offender Registry’s online interactive map.

The map allows residents to view the locations of registered sex offenders in their area and provides information on each offender’s registration status.

Deputies will conduct compliance checks on Halloween night for offenders subject to Halloween-specific restrictions under Missouri law.

Residents can access the interactive map and learn more by visiting the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s website at Search Missouri Sex Offender Registry.
