Cape Girardeau Fire Department quickly extinguishes house fire on S Pacific St.

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) – The Cape Girardeau Fire Department responded early Thursday morning to a reported house fire in the 400 block of South Pacific Street.

Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the blaze and minimize damage thanks to a nearby neighbor who noticed the fire and called for help.

The department thanked the community for remaining vigilant and encouraged residents to continue looking out for one another to help keep neighborhoods safe.
