Cape Girardeau man arrested in drug investigation, charged with trafficking

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) – A 20-year-old Cape Girardeau man is in custody after a drug investigation by the Cape Girardeau County Sheriff’s Office.

Keylynn-Lee Curneal was arrested on Thursday, April 3, and charged with second-degree trafficking.

According to court documents, Curneal possessed over eight grams of raw fentanyl at the time of his arrest.

During an interview with investigators, he admitted intending to sell some of the fentanyl to another individual in Cape Girardeau.

Curneal is being held at the Cape Girardeau County Jail on a $30,000 bond.
