Cape Girardeau man charged following narcotics investigation

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — The Cape Girardeau County Sheriff’s Office, in coordination with the Southeast Missouri Drug Task Force, executed a search warrant Tuesday at a residence on Dunklin Street in Cape Girardeau as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation.
During the search, deputies reportedly found suspected fentanyl, methamphetamine, hydrocodone, marijuana, and various drug paraphernalia and packaging materials. Authorities said they seized approximately 205 suspected fentanyl capsules, weighing about 22.8 grams, along with additional controlled substances.
Sola N. Depree was taken into custody and transported to the Cape Girardeau County Jail, where he was held for 24 hours pending formal charges from the Cape Girardeau County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
Following review, Depree was formally charged with:
Trafficking in the Second Degree – Class B Felony (RSMo 579.068)
Possession of a Controlled Substance – Class D Felony (RSMo 579.015)
The Cape Girardeau County Circuit Court set Depree’s bond at $30,000 cash only, signed by Judge Frank E. Miller. He remains in custody at the county jail.
All charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
