CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — A Cape Girardeau man faces two charges after police say they received information that he was sharing videos depicting sexual activity with a dog.
Matthew Parisano, 33, is charged with first-degree promoting obscenity, a Class E felony, and sex with an animal, a Class A misdemeanor, according to the Cape Girardeau Police Department. His bond was set at $10,000 cash only.
Police said officers received the information about 8 a.m. Sept. 30. They responded to Parisano’s residence in the 1900 block of Wessinger Lane about 1 p.m. that day, took him into custody and transported him to the police department.
Dogs were removed from the residence, and the animal cruelty hotline was contacted, police said.
The charges are accusations, and Parisano is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
