Cape Girardeau man reported missing in Greece

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Authorities in Greece are seeking the public’s help in locating a missing 73-year-old man who owns a longtime restaurant in Cape Girardeau.
According to a Silver Alert issued by Lifeline Silver Alert HELLAS, Nikolaos Sakarelos, owner of the Grecian Steakhouse in Cape Girardeau, has been missing since May 31.
Sakarelos was last seen in Athens’ Syntagma Square, according to the alert.
He is described as being approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall with a thin build and brown eyes.
Authorities said he was last seen wearing blue pants, a shirt, a beige vest and white athletic shoes. He was also carrying a blue backpack.
Officials warned that Sakarelos may be in danger and are asking anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact authorities immediately.
The Silver Alert remains active as search efforts continue.
