Cape Girardeau man suspected in I-70 shooting in custody

(KBSI) – A Cape Girardeau man suspected in a shooting in Oak Grove is in custody.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol asked for the public’s help finding Charles J. Smith, 18, from Cape Girardeau after a shooting happened in Oak Grove near Kansas City.

***SUSPECT IS IN CUSTODY***

Our troopers have located the suspect and placed him under arrest. The arrest occurred without incident.
