Cape Girardeau Municipal Band announces summer concert series at Capaha Park

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — The Cape Girardeau Municipal Band will return to Capaha Park this summer for a series of free outdoor concerts.

The performances will take place at the Dan Cotner Amphitheater and begin at 7:30 p.m. on select Wednesdays in June and July.

The concert series opens Wednesday, June 3.

Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, refreshments and friends to enjoy an evening of live music.

The 2026 summer concert schedule includes:

  • June 24
  • July 1
  • July 8
  • July 15
  • July 22
  • July 29

All concerts are free and open to the public.
