Cape Girardeau Nature Center to host “Maple Syrup Mania” Night Program in Cape Girardeau

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — The Cape Girardeau Nature Center will host a Nature Center @ Night program titled “Maple Syrup Mania” on Friday, Feb. 6.
The event is scheduled from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the nature center, located at 2289 County Park Drive. Registration is not required.
The program will explore how maple syrup is harvested from sugar maple trees and transformed from sap into syrup. Participants will learn about the process, its historical significance and take part in maple syrup-themed crafts and activities.
The featured presentation, led by Anna Nordwald, will begin at 6:30 p.m. The nature center will remain open to the public throughout the event until 7:30 p.m.
