Cape Girardeau Noon Lions Club to host 88th annual Pancake Day

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — The Cape Girardeau Noon Lions Club will host its 88th annual Pancake Day on March 18 at the A.C. Brase Arena Building in Cape Girardeau.

The event will run from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with organizers serving pancakes and sausage for $10 per ticket.

Guests can dine in, carry out or use the drive-through service.

Organizers also encourage attendees to bring a pair of used eyeglasses. Those who donate will receive a free ticket, with the glasses helping support Lions Club programs that provide vision assistance to people in need.

According to the club, Pancake Day is a long-standing local tradition and is considered the longest-running Pancake Day event in the United States.
