Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation to host free Parks and Rec Day event

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation will celebrate National Parks and Recreation Month with a free, family-friendly event at the Osage Centre.

Parks and Rec Day is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 8 at the Osage Centre.

The event will feature ice cream, prizes, crafts, games and activities hosted by local vendors. Attendees will also have the opportunity to celebrate Playmo’s birthday.

The event is free and open to the public.
